I was told they do ship UPS.... and I don't see how UPS would only charge $19 to ship a tire and wheel from Ca. to Pa.... I don't find $40 each too bad. Again, 4 wheels and 4 tires for $451 TOTAL. The tires alone are worth over $500.

Man I feel your pain. I got a chip on the back trunk lid last week from a car wash and I'm still losing sleep over it. [&o]

Yes... they are selling them individually for $89. That is for one wheel and mounted tire.

I think most people with the take offs do lower their cars. And yes, springs are all you need, like the Eibach Pro kit. Take my word for it, it'll look like a 4x without the springs!

Beau... there seems to be a ton of folks with the take-offs, and I don't see a problem... have they all lowered their cars? How do I lower? Just springs?

How much smaller, in diameter, are the GT tires?

And how hard is it to install the springs. I have access to a pneumatic lift.... do I want the wheels hanging down when I change the springs?

Are the Pony Package V6'ers lowered by the factory??????

The ride quality is fine, a little stiffer and MUCH better in the corners. As far as bottoming out, you don't bottom out the shocks you scrape the under carrage if you go over speed bumps too fast or straight on, also if you go straight up a steeply crowned driveway. I highly recommend the Eibach Pro Kit, you'll love the look and the handling is 100% better; add a rear sway bar and you're good to go!
