Man, your Stang looks so sweet all hunkered down like that over the tires, from that angle (second shot). Sits nice!!!

Did you add front fender badges, or is that a reflection in the second pic?

Thanks, I did add fender badges; I took off the running ponies and put on "Mustang" badges.

28HopUp.... did you lower your car after buying the GT takeoff wheels? If not, do you think the gap between tire and fender is too big now?

To clarify, my polished 17's are not "take-offs". They're Ford rims with stock size P-Zeros. They are exactly the same size as the GT take-offs though. They are roughly the same overall diameter as the 16" wheels that came stock.

I have really gone back & forth on lowering my car. I had Steeda springs on the '98 V6 Mustang ragtop I had before this one, and I loved the look. However, the car did bottom out and pulling up to curbs was always a concern. The handling was better than stock.

On my Oh Five, the rear wheel gap bothers me 7 months outa the year. For 5 months, I keep about 300 lbs in the trunk for winter weight. The car sits better in the winter. I like how the front end sits. I would love to get the same wheel gap that's in the front for the back. Yes, it does bother me at times how high the rear is due to excessive wheel gap. But not enough for me to bite the bullit and drop it down (yet!).

Hope that helps. Once you get your take-offs mounted, you'll have to judge for yourself.
