Default fuel filter

I see that the part number from ford for the fuel filter is the same as the v6 filter number-I thought it was in the tank but maybe not- anybody changed it or know where it is? The one on my 94 caddy was in the right front fender well!!

Here is a schematic that shows the entire fuel system, lines, couplers, fliter, tanks.... so on, it actually is a link to an old post on here. Im not sure who it was that posted it, but whoever you are i give credit to you as the orginal poster....lol but yeah, I think its covered by a plastic cover or something, either right under the driver or passengers a$$ under the car.

I believe you need a tool to take off/replace the fuel filter...right? Anyone find a cheap price for one?

Thanks, I am making sure everthing on my car is right before I set up a time to put it on brenspeeds dyno. I don't want to waste time cause I got a bad plug/wire/filter/ground.
