Oh my god... I love you guys.

Seriously, I'd kiss every guy in here right now.

The way it's looking now, I just talked my dad into a GT (yeah, it goes through the big man, I can't buy it myself without some help). One week from now I'll be either driving a new v6 (different color if so probably, because I can't handle black on a dusty street), and stick instead of auto possibly (That's a bit iffy, I had a hip replacement and he thinks that might be extra wear and tear.

Or

A GT to replace the V6, either way, it's looking like 0% instead of 8%.

But I wonder if they really would offer 16,000 for a trade-in.

I checked this out myself. You need good credit to get it (above 700). You also need to consider that you are spending more money for a GT, regardless of whether your payment stays the same or not. $25,000 over 72 months at 0 percent could easily be the same payment as $18,000 over 48 months depending on the interest rate, but in the end you are still paying $25,000. Consider the total price instead of the monthly payment is all im saying

EDIT: Oh yeah, you get no $1500 rebate if you take the 0% too.

Good move TNT! I'd be tempted, but a GT is still a bit more car than I need. I really like my 'stang as it is. Besides, the parking mod reversal kit is a fortune and I know a dealership won't take my car on a trade-in.... I mean c'mon... just check the sig.... [8D]

Actually, I'm not sure it would be more than 2-3g for me, considering that it was 8% interest with my parent's perfect credit (ironically, incentives started less than a month after it was bought).

Congrats on the new GT, sounds like a great deal. I'll stick with my V6 and get the X-Charger in a year and be happy as a pig in .....

+1 I've really come to appreciate my V6. I originally thought my target was eventually a GT but the 6er has enough power and power potential that a GT is just 2 more cylinders, a cooler sound and payments I don't really need. And it's sooooo much fun modding and personalizing my Vista Blue beauty. But you have one sweet ride and got a great deal. Congrats!

That's the same thing I was thinking when I read this. As much as I want one. I think I'll stick with the 6er

Same here... It's tempting, but my credit is only mid 600's anyway, plus my payments are enough as it is right now. Its tough being a college grad, even with a good job, still so many payments every month! I love my 6 though, can't wait to start doing some mods!

wow! 2.00 more! thats awesome... I would do the same, but gas prices in Hawaii suck! if gas prices were what they were 5 years ago... I would definately make the move... but now... gas prices continue to get worse... I might have to downgrade... im not selling the stang though.. hell no... this is the best car Ive ever owned!!! and i already had 4 cars and im only 19! lol..
