Default Planned mods for my v6

I recently inherited a 2006 automatic sixer from an older sibling with 868 miles on it. This car is completely stock at the moment. I was hopinh for a little guidance to get the best bang for my buck. I am also curious as to which upgrades will void my warrenty other than the required computer flash for a CAI.

First off, I was going to start with a Limited slip differential and maybe some 4.13 rear gear. From what I hear, these give you a much faster throttle response which is what I really want on my car. The second upgrade that I would like to add would be a set of underdrive pulleys; I don't really listen to the stereo too loud or blast the AC, so why not free up a few horses there. Then I would plan to add some JBA power cables and a throttle body spacer. After I finish these I would probably go for a complete exhaust system replacement. Starting with some long tube headers and ending with some Cat back exhaust on a take off GT bumper. After these upgrades, I don't really know which way to go, I could either go the route of a S/C or Turbo, or the more conservative CAI and stroker kit. The only upgrade really off limits right now is Nitrous. I am also open to other suggested upgrade paths if mine is completely the wrong way to go.

4.10 gears
save ur money on the throttle body spacer, as most ppl dyno at 0rwhp gains and some have even lost power.
the cables also wont do any good for peak power, maybe more consistent spark, but nothing better than stock. The whole ignition system would have to be upgraded to see more power.

from what i have heard is that the underdrive pulleys dont add anything on the 05 v6 mustangs (could be wrong). Throttle body spacers do absolutely nothing. We dont want you to spend money when you dont need too. Everything else sounds good though

I was looking at some ingnition stuff today and came across the E3 diamondfire plugs which say that:
-Power output improved 6 to 12% on average in typical operating ranges*

-Fuel usage reduced by 3% to 13% depending on the engine class*
Sounds nice, but could I really expect 12-24 horses from a set of plugs? Also, is everything I mentioned sans the computer tune covered under the 36k mile warranty?

if your current spark plugs were burned out, and u switched to those plugs, ya you might pick up 6 or so hp, but over a perfectly good plug, no u wont.

Just like royal purple oil. They did the dyno test and got somin like 12rwhp, but that was over dirty engine oil, dirty trans oil, and dirty rear end oil.

Is there a site with accurate information on hp gains or is it mostly scattered throughout the forums?

scattered. anything you find on websites will be manufacturer claims, or inflated numbers from dyno tuners.

from what i have heard is that the underdrive pulleys dont add anything on the 05 v6 mustangs (could be wrong).

this is a really big misconception on this forum. there are gains with is, something like 6rwhp. however, it is easier and cheaper to swap the alternator pully, which will get you something like 3rwhp.

so...you just have to consider how bad you want ~3rwhp

Anything below 3000 dollars Isn't much of an issue. I will probably get these all done before '07 and save up for an S/C or bore/stroke for over the summer
