shame
i understand the power of the gt but everyone bought a v6 and on many post i read about the mods they love and why we love our cars I dont think the v6 as a second place car but one that i can improve on very nicely and make more my own and unique and special to me but as soon as people heard the ford incetive offer they abaned there v6s like the plage and if you did change up ok thats your right but i dont want to read about how much you love your mustang i even wrote in the post about the gt i may change up but deffently not til 2009 and only for the hard top convert and then i still might stay with the 6 depending on the mods i do to my car and how much i like it
I still love my V6 Mustang

RE: shame
Believe it or not, i was out lookin at stangs yesterday... That 0% thing is tempting... they only had GTs... No 6's... I would have thought it would be the other way around the way people have talked in the past. Anyway, the 6 is very popular...

RE: shame
Well the v6's are normally like 5 grand cheaper and still a great car so since they had wanted like $30,000 for a GT like most i copped a v6 instead. But if your gonna like engine mod up the ying yang then after the costs itll pretty much add up to a GT and still get around the same power depending on what your doing to them so it'd just make sense to buy one in the 1st place. Ill be honest if i could afford a GT i would get one because then you dont have to add a bunch of stuff to make great power its the strongest 4.6L theyve released so your pretty much set. But like u said I still love my 6er lol.

RE: shame
i'm not gonna lie, i like v8 cars, driving fast, all that stuff, but the reallity is i like my car. other than it being a v6, it's EXACTLY what i wanted. well, i do wish i could've got one with bullit wheels (they didn't have a pony package car). i'm keeping my 6 and getting bullits for it in a few months.

i already addressed that in the drivetrain performance section.

RE: shame
I too was dis-heartened when I saw the post for Ford 0% and 0 down, then poof... people dropped their V6's like a bad habit, they couldnt get rid of their V6's fast enough. I love my V6, and I mean I LOVE it. Me and my wifes credit score is damn good, about 790. The Dealer asked me, with that credit, we can just as easily get you a GT with the same money down, I turned it down because other than more raw HP, the GT only offered me a higher monthly payment, a higher insurance bill, and the potential for a revoked drivers license because asking me NOT to speed is like asking a heroin addict to stop cold turkey....lol I happily chose the V6 and am still happy with it, I may get another in 5 years. Kudos to the "true" remaining V6 enthusiasts.
