The automatics really cant burn out. You might be able to get a squeak out of it by startin out fast but no tire smoke. We have a rev limiter so you would have to buy a tuner to get it to burn.

It is possible to burn out, I have an auto sixer... gas and brake (easy)... you can sit and "burn out" till your tires blow... NO NEUTRAL DROPPING!!

I have a 2006 4.0 auto also, and I cant to a burn out in it unless I was to torque brake it. But with the tuner will it really enable it, to do a burn out with out brake torque in it. Because I am planing on getting a tuner and cai.

Dude before i bought my mustang (its a manual) i had a rental v6 auto mustang.
I dont recommend doing this very often...at all...but if you really want a burnout, roll forward a litle bit, very slowly, slam the brakes and bury your foot in the throttle....and just hold it there. You'll only do a one wheel burnout, because of the open rear end, but if you keep it up, you can engulf the whole street in smoke (And cover your car in melted rubber!)

put a blower in it then you wont have a problem but on a serious note...just power brake it like crazy and then let er go. I can do it fairly easily, i have the pzero's that come with the pony package so it's a little harder, but i have a stick...
