ORIGINAL: ArcticFrog

Holy crud, that glassback roof is DA BOMB!!! I'm sure it's not in my price range though and it doesn't look like it's available to order anyway, oh well.

BlueStang6 thanks for posting that link! I SWEAR I searched for 'sunroof' 'moonroof' and even just 'roof' but must have done something wrong to not find that thread. That is EXACTLY what I'd be getting if I go for it (and I'm thinking I probably will!) And lucky for me my costs including install are only $950! YEA!

Thanks for the help tracking down some info!

You can't just buy a glassback... you have to purchase it and have it installed by a Glassback Dealer: http://www.glassbackroof.com/dealer.html

I wouldn't ever attempt to install such a thing anyway I just noted that the linked site said they weren't taking orders for them right now so even if I found 1)a dealer close to me to install it and 2) a money tree to pay for it...it looks like it's not orderable right now.

Thanks though!

oh no.....I just had to do it. The very place that will do my 'regular' moonroof is a certified dealer/installer for the glassback roofs!!! ACK!!! I shouldn't have looked...I shouldn't have LOOKED!!!

Now I'll be sorely tempted to get the glassback instead of a much cheaper moonroof....wugh.

Try http://www.inalfasunroofs.com/
It is the type I have in mine and I love it.
You can put an inbuilt into a stang, they just have to lower the headliner.
I am in love with mine. All together mine was $1200 and it is an inbuilt.

I sent an email to glassbackroof.com aka webasco(i think). They told me that they couldnt give me the exact price because some dealers charge more for install but if I budgeted for 4000.00 I should have more then enough to do it.

S/C first

One day, One day

Cheers,
