360

360
I was coming out of the car was the other day and had to turn left on to a four lane with a turn lane. Had to wait forever and a day for an opening to occur in the traffic. When i gunned it to get across the first couple of lanes into the turn lane and start cutting it, I discovered that the road was still a little wet from the rain that morning as well as my tires were wet from the wash. Now anyone that has driven a stang in the rain might can guess what happened next. The car's rear end came around and I ended up doing a 360, but was able to correct it going in the correct direction. Had to play it real cool and just continue on my merry way. Would not recommend doing it to anyone and never want to do that again, but when all was said and done it was cool as hell. No damage to my baby and she handled perfect coming out of the spin.

RE: 360
I know what you mean. Right after I got ym car it was wet out and I tooka turn too fast at a big intersection. I did a 180, caught it and spun it 180 back and just kept going. Kinda wondered what everyoen at the light was thinking, heh.

Been there. Done that. Backed-in to a retaining wall. Got my duals and GT take-off rear bumper sooner than I planned. WooooHoooo!
Good recovery, McBudd, I'm glad nobody was hurt and your Pony was undamaged.

RE: 360
Did the same thing almost a year ago. I figure in about 6 more months I'll have paid off the repair work that went on my credit card. Would be nice if the damn traction control actually worked when it was supposed to. Why would Ford set up the thing up so that the system allows slippage with TCS turned on? How hard is it to hit the button when you want a smokey burnout (or use xcal to kill it and take your chances)?
Gotta love it!
