RE: louver question
ORIGINAL: Dior85
ok soi was at some party and i was talking to these ppl who own mustangs and i asked if they had louvers bc i was interested in ordering them and wanted to know about their blind spots. so the girl gets all bychy 'why the f**k would u put louvers on ur v6?? they are for the roushes. thats like me putting my bf's GT sticker on my v6!'
i like the louvers bc of the vintage look but does it look stupid if im in a v6?

Like Scrmng said, one of the dumbest remarks I've heard. Has she ever seen a 1965, 1966, 1967 or 1968 Mustang fastback? The first Mustangs all had louvers and no glass on the fastback (or 2+2 as they were called originally). Under her line of thinking no one but a Shelby should have the glass in the rear side windows of the coupe because the original 1966 Shelby GT 350 was the first to remove the louvers from the rear side windows and put glass instead.
