Default Removing a key mark...

Some people really have problems...My car got keyed last night when I was at work I guess...I just hope its no one I know cause then it makes it 10x worse...Anyway, its about 7 inches long on my trunk lid where the chrome mustang thing is that has the key hole in it to open the trunk. Its pretty deep so its not getting buffed out. Does anyone know any good way to make it look at least "OK." I was thinking about putting a bunch of coats of touch-up paint on it to fill the scratch and then buffing it or something. If anyone can help that would be fantastic....some people....

Sorry to hear man. I believe that people who do this need to have a date with Bubba.[>:] If you don't have a black stang and like the honeycombs or black panels (you know the ones people put on between the tail lights), those can cover it up. If you're gonna get it painted I think you should get the whole trunk lid proffessionally done so it would look like new.

Yeah true story about having the whole thing painted, but I dont have the cash for that.... Id rather save for my t-lock job now that I got some good rubber on my car. Im gunna think about the cover though thats not a bad idea. Thanks

go for one of those magnetic black outs, they look good and they are relatively cheap compared to the other ones

Can I just get the middle piece to the full tail light black out kit....? http://www.v6mustangstuff.com/images/05rearpanel.jpg
It says it requires the tail light pieces for complete installation. Whats that mean?

Yes, you can use just the center blackout without the tail light blackouts....That's what I did...

That suck's but at least you can get a cover for it. Thats a nice little cheap option to save you money for now. Those honeycomb covers are not bad looking too.
