Default i have a question...yes i do.

ok i was wondering how all of you guys with gears/t-loks deal with warranty stuff. I know if the dealer finds that you have tuned the warranty is void, so how do you deal with that? Is it small enough of a change in your speedo with gears that you can flash it back to stock and still get to the dealer? Also, can the dealer tell that you have different gears and a t-lok without opening up your rear end?

Yep just reflash it....they even took mine out for a 50 mile test drive without a problem. They cant tell the car has a tloc or gears unless they tried to burnout in it....and they will definately not teel you" hey we tried a burnout in your car and it spun both wheels ...you have a tloc so we will be voiding..." WOnt happen, only thing that i not covered are the gears themselves. You can also pay them to install the gears anfd tloc that way they have to cover it under warranty.

I had one dealer who wanted to do that to me, so I went to another dealer to buy my Oh Five. Beaustang, you should have shopped around!!!

actually... just because they install it does mean you get a warranty! Tloc and gears would come from the Ford Racing catalog which states:

MOST FORD RACING PERFORMANCE PARTS AND VEHICLES ARE SOLD
WITH NO WARRANTY.
