Price difference is 6-7K actually if priced like for like V6 vs GT convertibles.
I can spend $3000 and get a supercharger :-) and make more power than GT plus I am 200lb lighter.
6 - 7K for the extra power and GT image is hardly worth it imo.

Hook me up with that $3000 supercharger! I'm looking at the XCharger at about 3800 plus install.

I got a quote from procharger rep for $2700 without intercooler.

I'm loving my V6 and have a totally unique vehicle ...

Original price was $19,800 ...

I added the following:

$500 - Pioneeer head unit & speakers with iPod controller
$70 - Factory All-Weather Pony Floor mats
$60 – GT side skirts
$160 – GT sway Bar Set
$129 – GT take-off Black Spoiler
$170 – Rear Louvers
$175 – Side Louvers
$107 - Side Scoops (great ebay deal ...)
$170 – Hood Stripes
$230 – Billet Grill with Lights
$144 – Tailight Blackout
$60 – Tailight bezels
$235 – K&N CAI
$80 – GT Take-Off Muffler
$150 – Window Tint
$40 – 1969 Grill Emblem
$420 – Bullit Wheels/Tires
$60 – Pony Spinners

$2,960 in add-ons for a total cost of: $22,760

To reproduce this with a GT I can subtract out the side skirts, Mufflers and Bullit Wheels. Figuring the GT would have cost me $25,800 to achieve the Mach 1 look and other niceties with V8 power it would be $2,320 for a total of $28,120 ... So I gave up about 70 RWHP in exhange for $5,360 and still have a fast, nimble quick handling, great looking Mustang.

I'm happy .....
