not as bad as me mis-shifting into 2nd instead of 4th for about half a second doin 65. scared the **** out of me. Don't worry you are fine, thats what the rev limiter is for.

i got pulled over coming out of school on the last day last year because i was completely sideways at the intersection coming out of the parking lot. The cop asked me what happened and i said, "im sorry officer im not used to driving this car and i gave it alot more gas than i needed to." he gave me the, "BULL ****!" look and said well don't let anything like this ever happen again, most police men wont let you off for something like this. came back to school the next day with a buddy of mine that has an 88 trans am and did donuts all over the parkin lot. I think all male mustang owners drive like maniacs.

drive my GTO for a week. It has throttle by wire too.

then hop in a stock v6 stang. you will hate your car forever.

the lag sucks, really bad.

is there a lag on manual trannys?
maybe im just used to it?

not so much, as the computer just controls the throttle, not the throttle, clutch and shifting.

sparky- Sometimes i get a lag and almost stall because i dont get gas and start letting the clutch up. I'm hoping it goes away once it's tuned.
