actually the 5.0 is almost exactly as fast as us lol. They have far more torque and i think are actually lighter?

saw a i think late 90's gt about a week ago with the huge cobra r wing on it, and i decided id pass a few cars and get up next to him at the light and race. Well i was laughing because he had a HUGE cowl induction hood and a ricey body kit with this crazy flame paint job in green blue and black. I hit it from the light and flew past him thinking, "what a ricer" until i heard this psssssssssssssssssttttt and WOOSH he flies past me and i hear this really loud blow off valve. He pretty much dissapeared after that lol. Do not underestimate riced up stangs.

Not a Mustang Ricer story, but a ricer story nonetheless and how you shouldn't underestimate them. I was driving with some friends in my step-dad's Subaru STi and it has a few mods done to it. Well we were pulling up on this Civic with a big exhaust, altezza tailights, a VTEC Racing sticker, etc. Well we pull up next to him laughing and I punch it(in 4th gear, should've been in 3rd), he punches it, and blows past me on the freeway. We all stopped laughing, well we hit traffic and get in front of him, sure enough, there is a front mount intercooler in the bumper.

I got great love for the fox bodies and foxes with great bodies for that matter. I had an 83 5.0 vert it was a great car and man would it scoot. But I hate rice and mostly the cocky pukes that drive um....I'm glad you goated this guy into a ticket (mainly for rice of a mustang) but for being an a$$. [8D]

I love it when slow Civics try to give me a ricer fly by on the freeway...
A few times, I was too lazy to drop to 4th, so I left it in 5th, floored it, and still OWNED them...
When I drop to 4th....hehe...

screw 4th, if your doing under 100 drop it in third and really let her fly.

The crown vic cop cars have the same 4.6 out of the GT, along with suspension upgrades etc. They will easily take us. Also, like we always say at work.... You have to beat Motorola, not the crown vic. All they have to do is radio ahead to another officer and you're screwed.

actually the crown vic cop cars are considerably slower than us. They are only making 239hp and weigh about 4000 lbs. They run 0-60 in the 8's. They don't really have to be very fast tho, just fast enough to get your license plate.
