Damn... I'm 45 and been married once (years ago and had no kids). I'm engaged now and very happily living with her and her 11 year old son for over a year now..... I kind of like the father thing and I do already realize the challenges..... but man.... this wreaks of the times I have ahead of me.... lol!

Hang in there man! Make peace with the old man somehow. Be humble... eat that crow.... big deal, at least you get smoothness back and all the while you know on the inside what the real story is and that's all that matters. [8D]

Sorry about that, loosing your car sucks I am sure. Just curious about 2 things; 1) What did you fight about? 2) How did or do you pay for your car and all the mods that have been done?

I pay for all the mods. but i was out and my dad was like where you goin, I told him, and then hes like well if you go some where else call me and tell me. so i come home later, and hes like why you come home so early, and I was like cause i dont feel like calling you everysecond i go somewhere else. and he got pissed at me. so i forfet what else happend but hes like your not drivin your car the whole weekend, and took my keys. so i was like fine you can keep them i dont want them. and hes like ill sell this thing. I dont think they will sell it though.

I hope your dad does sell it because of your attitude! Dad bought you a new Mustang, so quit crying, kid. You paid for all those mods? How about putting that towards paying your dad back for his generosity?

When I was a kid, I was grateful to drive my dad's Crown Vic. I always kept it clean for him, and always left him with a full tank of gas. I respected him and the car, and he respected me.

I'm impressed with your answer. I thought you'd flame me for sorta ripping on you. Take it from a guy who's made some "hothead" comments to his own father.. it really doesn't get you anywhere. Sometimes, after you cool off, you realize that you say stuff that you don't mean. Bottom line is that dad's not picking on you, he's just watching out for you.
Because he's been there, done that and he's trying to make things easier for you than they were for him.
