thats not everything youll need...youll need a capacitor and install kit. Install kits are about $100 along with the cap so your looking at another $200.

Everything you said was good info until you said dont buy rockford fosgate? WTF? Who in the hell told you that, Rockford Fosgate amps are awesome!

as far as subwoofers, you're going to want to run some kind of JL audio or Alpine subwoofer. Speakers, i'd say alpine, pioneer, or JL. and for amps, definetly JL, pioneer, or alpine. Don't get rockford fostgate nething if you're trying to do things right....better right than half assed.

#1 You dont need a capacitor depending on how much power your system puts out because i dont need one but i dont have over 1000W coming out so...And if you dont buy the bottom line of it rockford fosgate is a good company, people say they are because they buy the dirt cheap stuff which sucks.

haha....was just going off what I know about subwoofers. Most of my friends and people I know have had bad things to say about Rockford. I mean mostly people I know run JL everything. JL and alpine's new sub are top of the line along with maybe the kicker L7 solobaric. I mean...just stating from personal experience...just take your $.02 from it ya know.

Ive got 1 10"alpine type X sub, and 1 hifonics brutus 2005d amp. I have been in the car audio industry for a long time. Best best best way to learn about car audio is join a car audio forum. Alpine type X is built insanly for soundquality(sq) and loudness*(slp). Ive got about 1300watts rms and about 3k max. Make sure to upgrade your alternator. There is no need for a cap, they are useless unless it is the last resort. And make sure to use 0Guage wiring when installing the "+" to the amp and the "-" to the ground

I hope you can list one. No luck on finding 2005+ Mustangs high output alternators.

Can't find actual numbers but I think factory our alts are about 80 idle and 120 cruising.

If somebody can find a 200 h/o alt for our Mustangs then that'd be great. So far I've had no success. I hoped for Green Machine but no dice.
