RE: V6'ers dropping like flies?
ill be here for years to come and so will many others. We may lose some, but like everyone else has said, those v6's have to go somewhere and some of them will replace the members we lost. When i do trade up it wont be for at least 4-5 years and it won't be for a gt...it'll be for one these bad boys.

I'll be keeping my car for years, I come here rather than the other forums because you folks (fazm, rygenstormlocke, scrming, pr 4.6, moderators, etc) know what your talking about through experience. I can't get any better advice then that. probally saved me a ton of money too. BTW no matter what anybody tells you, Weld Prostars will not fit on a 05 up mustang[:@].

It does come in spurts. I used to go to 3.8mustang.com all the time, but now i stay here. That place is dead. I like the maturity in here more as aposed to a lot of car websites.

My sixer is staying right where she is. Didn't want the Gt when I bought her and still do not want one. If all you want from a car is speed then go with the GT, but for style i like my 6er.

RE: V6'ers dropping like flies?
Hello all! I've been reading all of the forms over the past few weeks and decided that now would be a good time to chime in. I traded an 2004 chevy 4X4 for my 2006 stang. I truly enjoy my car. I drove a GT to see what the difference would be and I did enjoy the power! I also decided that gas is high and will probably go higher again so I went V6. I also decided that I didn't need a race car just something fun to drive, and I love the new mustang look. So far I've put on a Roush hood scoop. I will post some pics soon but just figured I'd chime in to give my 2 cents and say hello. P.S. I'm also an old guy at 35 and did the race car stage in my life...
