Mine is an 05.
have you been able to do really big burnouts... not just chirps???
Honestly, I haven't tried to smoke the tires... I just know if I put my foot in it I can make noise any day of the week.

On a very very good day i can get a small squeal out of the tires but it isnt no just brake and burn that dont happen that easy on stock tune for the auto's.

8cd03gro - Auto's arent for pussies auto's are for a wider range of people to drive them, its not like everyone wants to learn how to drive stick, i coulda bought a manual but winters up here are a bitch so i stuck with the auto this season.

no need to be uneasy... My feeling is Ford was WAY over cautious on the 05's... it appears they changed things a bit for 06+ since some of those guys have no problem doing burnouts with a stock tune...

This is what I'm talking about.. 4.10s, track-lock, intake and tune... and a little power braking... LOL!
