Default Torque Restriction

Can someone please explain to me why they decided to give the 4.0 automatics a power restriction while in drive preventing any kind of burnout. but last week while in reverse i gave the car some gas and the tires broke loose of the road with no problem? WTF

I don't have a problem smoking my tires. As a matter of fact I get too much tire spin. Maybe you need a tuner.........

I can make the tires squeal in mine with the Traction Control System on... So I'd imagine it's quite possible to do with it turned off.

First time I pulled out of the driveway I tapped the pedal a little to hard and It gave me a solid sound. V6 - Automatic.

Are you an 05, 06 or 07?

yes, a tune remove the Torque Management System... It appears that the 06/07's allow more power compared to the 05s...

According to my inside source it was "to make sure your drivetrain makes it through the warranty period"
