my 100% stock time was 15.26
thats with a DA of over 4500.

94-98 3.8s ran mid 16s-mid 17s or something.

99-04s ran mid 15s to mid 16s.

depending on the tranny and vert or coupe, of course

If your goal is the PHP car, you will need to do the following:


• PHP V6 air box kit
• PHP A/C bypass belt
• PHP/SCT tune
• PHP alternator under drive pulley
• PHP V6 engine mounts
• PHP V6 strut brace
• PHP upper and lower rear control arms
• 4.10 gears with GT 8.8
• Slicks and skinneis
• Rear seat delete
• Sound system delete
• JBA shorty headers
• JBA H pipe with cat converters and dual exhaust

This is the configuration PHP ran to get the 13.9.

wow, I feel slow right now. I ran a 15.2 best with exhaust, cai and tune. Then again, the track conditions sucked that day.

I wasn't dissapointed, and I was raised to believe any non-v8 mustang was junk, that opinion largely based on my buddys 4-banger. Took the salesman a while to talk me into driving it, but once I did I was sold. Saved a ton of cash, because the dealer markup on GTs was ridiculous when I went looking.

Guess it all depends what you want out of your car. If it's just raw speed then there are better options than a new mustang if you look used.
