Default Tell me if this has happened to you?

I had a problem a while back with the car dying, took it to ford they could find nothing. Well it did it again on Sunday. Now the car is really acting up. The headlights don't work at all and when the car is running and you turn the lights on it dies. Fuses all look good, no bad connections. I am really frustrated at this point because I've already had a Ford dealer tell me I've done a lot of mods to it and they don't have to fix it. I'm gonna try to take it in again on Saturday but who knows what they'll say.

it sounds like some kind of alternator problem. What mods do you have exactly?

nvm i can see your mods in your sig...take off the intake and revert back to stock tune and they are gonna have to fix it unless they already know you tuned it. Unless they can prove scientifically that your mods caused the problem they legally have to fix it, and there is no way exhaust, gears, and tloc would cause an alternator or electrical problem, so just go back to stock tune.

Yeah, I already did. Hopefully ford doesn't keep maintinence records in a national database as I have taken it to another dealer (well, actually it was towed there the first time it died) and I couldn't un-mod it. I feel the same way, as there is nothing I have done that would effect the electrical system.
