When I heard about this new color offered on the 2007 models...I fell in love. I finally saw the car in person yesterday at my local dealer. I was thinking about trading it in for mine which is why I was looking. I basically want the Alloy Metallic car with everything mine has or more with the same price as I paid for my 2005 V6 Premium 5-Speed Manual. I paid $19,000 MSRP for mine.

This car I saw was the Alloy Metallic 2007 V6 4.0L Premium with Interior Upgrade and Pony Package with the new flat spoiler, fatter Pirelli tires with 17" cast aluminum wheels. The cost of the car was $23,135 MSRP. With not only the price being an issue, so was the fact that this wonderful car was....an AUTOMATIC. It's against my rules to purchase a muscle car with a auto tranny. The dealer said since the car and color are new, they only have them with the Pony Package Upgrade which all include the 5-Speed Auto Tranny Upgrade. He said I should wait until 2007 for the car to be cheaper and more of them to be released with the manual transmission.

Anyone here seen this new color? And know of anywhere else I could find this color on the car of my specs?

I was also thinking, maybe just find out where to purchase the color paint and have it painted on my current Pony.

I saw one and I was confused because it wasn't black, but not quite tungston either.
I didn't realize it was a new color for 2007.

I't a very sharp looking color IMHO.
This one was a Pony V6 auto BTW.

Yes, it's very decieving It's definitely my new fav. I just wish I could afford to special order the brand new car in that color. By the way, the dealer suggested I do that. Then, when I looked online today, it doesn't show up as a color option...

Any ideas?

You are talking about spending thousands of dollars to change the color of your car! Why not just invest in a custom paint job - it would be cheaper!

I'm really wanting to paint it that color but I'm nervous about paying a whole lot and getting a horrible paint job.

Well v6's have some power but stock they arent muscle muscle cars lol plus you talking about a 2007 your not gonna get it for $19,000. And also there isnt anything wrong with automatics quit hating its a Mustang thats all that matters. Not everyone likes driving a stick especially if it snows alot in the winter. But ya the color is a great color along with grabber orange new for the 2007 year as well.

The really fast muscle cars run automatic trannys. Everybody around here knows that autos are just plain faster...ask around

I was at the FORD dealer a few months back and saw the new ALLOY color on a PONY PACKAGE with a FIVE SPEED. I recall it specifically, because I had a momentary lapse of good sense and was thinking of trading my trusty FORD ESCAPE for the five speed and having TWO Mustangs. Pretty color, although the really dark colors are hard to keep from water spotting and getting etched from the heat in summer.
