As a 46 yo dad with 3 kids, one heading to law school and the other 2 (twins 16yo) in 11th grade I'm going to offer some advice.
1. Never give in to peer pressure. Ever. Sing your own tune, dye your hair green whatever but be yourself because you are the only person who can be YOU. It's what's inside of you that counts, not what you drive.
2. People who make fun of you are jealous of something you have, or have done. It may not even be related to your car.
3. There will always be someone faster. I live a stones throw away from The Hamptons NY and while you are driving down main street in your turbo Porsche vert chances are real good there is a Lamborghini coming the other way. That's the way life is.
Enjoy whatever ride you have and be yourself!

off the subject, but untill last night my car has never chirped the tires on a shift. ??? I find that interesting, maybe cause i'm at 28 psi? maybe i'm going so fast I leave the sound in my wake??? I had beater musclecars in highschool while I worked in a shop. I never got into that my car is better than your car thing. Just into my car is faster, no matter what it looks like. But then my first car was a 1957 devin ss I bought out of a neighbors garage after his son rolled it. Kinda hard for most anything in 1978-79 to keep up with it.

You guys are amazing... lol! Yea alot of people at school seem to like my car but I just say "thanks, I appreciate it." I havn't gotten ragged on yet. I wonder why your 40's rice out... I have a 5-speed manual and headers maybe that's why mine don't... oh well. Oh and the Scion TC's aren't bad but how many people drive them AND know alot about Mustangs? (hopfully the answer doesn't make me out to be a douchebag )
