I was driving my moms mountaineer to get the radio fixed and she was drving my mustang in front of me. I looked at the rear bumper and noticed a bump. I decided that it was just the way the light was hitting the bumper and it wasnt really there. after I had the stang back though I took a closer look and sure enough the bump was real it was where the metal behind the fasia had pushed out the plastic when it was hit. There were scratches and pressure marks, but no paint transfer. Since the dent was so minute and hard to see and could actually only be seen in certain light, I didnt know for sure how long it had been there or where it happend at. I went by my ins. company and they said that I needed to go get an estimate and if I could get the police to write up an incident report and that I could get it replaced with no deductible, but they probably woudlnt write one up since I didnt know where or when it happend. I went to one of my friends family's body shop and got an estimate and he said that he would hook me up with the GT bumper with no extra charge! So I was really happy about that since I havent been able to find a GT Take off Rear Bumper in my color for several months. Well I went to the police station and talked with an officer for a little while and was trying to be as nice as possible so he would actually write it up. He looked at the dent and everything and decided to go ahead and write it up. So the way it worked out is at the end on the month I will be getting a NEW GT bumper painted to match my car for FREE. I am gonna ask they guy at the body shop if he will paint a duck tail spoiler for me along with the bumper and install it for a discount. It will be worth a try and since it is my friends family it may actually work.

People are A$$hole's. Some people have no respect for other people's property. People are on a tight budget like my self since I graduated from school last year and I'm trying to pay off my loans. It would difficult financially if someone hit my car and I had to get it fixed.

I got something similar on my bumper I was never hit, but when the suns facing a certain way you can see like 2 rectangles next to each other on my bumper

yeah my car was taged last night,.. looks like someone with backed up into me.. left a golfball sized dent in my front bumper
