I have stock headers on my Stang and I'm happy with them. I thought about custom headers but with dual Flowmasters (with H-pipe) the car sounds perfect and others have looked at my stock headers and said not to bother, they may be a bit heavier but they are just fine. No need to spend the extra $$$ for something that might end up sounding wrong.

I have Dual Flowmasters (40-series) and H-pipe with JBA shortie headers and the sound is a little bit different. You can hear each cylinder a bit better but I got them for a good price and I don't know if spening $640 is REALLY worth it unless you get a supercharger

Are the mac ones that bad? I mean these cars are pretty brand new and already the headers are so rusty they look like theyve been rained on for 10yrs. I heard the mac's have fitting issues and that you should buy JBAs which i might because i cant stand the ugly rust!
