Default RPM

What RPM do u stick guys shift at around city? Also, when ur cruising around the city, what RPM are u at?

i drive alot in l.a. but ususally between 2500 to 3500 rpms just really depends onthe flow of the traffic, unless cruising sunset i try to take take less congested roads.... highway ill go 3500 to 4500 again dpending on traffic or if im just trying to enjoy my ride, while i have gone to 5000 rpm although i dont do this much, mostly on barren on ramps druring road trips etc......

I usually shift about 2200-2500 unless getting onto a freeway or tryin to pass someone

You guys make me sound like a grandma!!!

Around the city I shift around 2500 in first, 2000 in the rest (for gas purposes). Believe it or not, I don't bottom out doing this either! And considering the owners manual suggests speeds at which it's 1500rpm, I'm actually "pushing it."

On the highway, I shift around 3500 or so.
