Default Going Back to 87?

After I put in my C&L and 87 tune the difference was monumental, the car got to red line in no time, I could really tell the difference going from a complete stop, now after having the 93 for about a month and 2000 miles or so it feels sluggish, should I go back to 87? Anyone did that, any words from experience…?

have you not reflashed your tune since you originally uploaded it?

if not, upload your 93 tune again and see if that helps.

I posted a thread about this a few weeks ago. My 87 tune felt incredible, 93 didn't seem to compare. I'm thinking it's all in my head. If I had loaded the 93 tune for the first time, I would probably be saying the opposite.

where are your guys' tuners from?

I know doug from bamachips sells 2 different kinds of tunes and only has a performance tune for 87 (no torque tune) and torque tunes for 89,91,93 plus performance tunes for 89-91-93

It happens to all of us...you get used to the power ..the car is not slower , its just that u have gotten used to the feeling and now it "feels" slower. Re flash it with the 93 and let it learn for a while.

Well, I thought my car was not performing up to snuff... and just for kicks I cleaned my air filter... It didn't look real dirty or anything... but I thought what the heck... I cleaned it and it made a noticable difference.. just food for thought...
