Cold Feet Painting Calipers

RE: Cold Feet Painting Calipers
I also have the GT Takeoffs, and painted my calipers.
I did not take the calipers off the car, though. I was worried about messing with the brakes.
I just painted all the surface area of the caliper I could get to, leaving the clips and the shiny backing of the pads bare.
I used a kit I bought at Autozone, and they came out great. Definitely use red.
Good advice is to get an extra can of caliper cleaner and extra brushes.
I did about 3-4 coats on each one.
It really completes the look to the wheels and you will get many compliments.
