RE: New GT in the house!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Nice gt man. As for you guys wanting the tuner you will have to send it to sct so they can flash it to work with your car. I think they charge like 50 bucks. Also the preloaded tunes get erased at that time i believe

Petepete,
I read your post and thought "Oh ****" that sucks! So I called Jay at JLT.
he said that as long as I return my V-6 to stock, which it already is, using the tuner,
that i could then us it on any other car that the SCT supports, No reflash needed and
nothing gets erased. Thought I would let everyone know.

Sorry not vin PCM code http://www.sctflash.com/Find_EEC.php
then if you have that right
Q: Can your product be used on more than one vehicle?
A: Our products support many vehicles. However, only one vehicle can be tuned at a time. Our programmers vin lock to the vehicle. You can return one vehicle back to stock and then use it on another vehicle.

RE: New GT in the house!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I bought a unit from somebody on Ebay (before I bought from Evolution). Item came, and it had been returned to stock. I tried to flash and it said I could not becuse the unit was locked to another car. I called SCT. SCT told me that once a unit is used on another car, the tuner must be returned to stock AND an SCT tuner must unlock it from the original car as well.
Many people here say that you can use it on more than one car if you return to stock. My experience and my conversation with SCT contradicts this. Once used on a car, it's locked to that car.

Second: Return your V6 to stock
Third: Depending on (First) either go for it (same numbers), or contact a reputable tuner and get them to create you a set of tunes (they will ask for your PCM code... mods etc)
Fourth: GO FORTH MY SON
Either way, you HAVE TO return your V6 to stock so that the tuner will work on another car
