Default What to Do?

Hey guys I got an 05 V6 mustang and I'm sick of people talking **** about it only being a V6, what kind of performance upgrades would be good to install to start turning the tables. I was think Intake system headers and a Cat back exhaust....Any disagreements or ideas? I would be much appreciative for the input

hmmmmm welcome to v6 mustang life
turst me when i say the **** does not stop flying ever
no matter what you do so just get used to it
i would say for starters a good CAI, a tuner from bamachips (look it up there the best) and an mrt axelback exhaust

i dont really know as far a dyno numbers because im to lazy to go and do it
but i have to tell you that cai, mrt exhaust(which is crazy loud) and a 93 race tune from doug at bama with rock your socks off

stock 05s run about 15.5-15.3 int the quarter and i broke off a 14.7 in my auto with just these mods
that may not seam like alot but its a hell of alot

How old are the people that are giving you a hard time?

All the people who have commented on my car are 20+, and not a single one of them has given me a hard time for getting a V6. I do get the occasional person asking if it's a 5.0 L though. I just tell them it's a 4.0 L

I used to get the "It's only a V6" comment from people of ALL ages... That pretty much stopped once I started running low 13's.... I just tell them my car runs low 13's (now high 12's!) and then ask them to show me their latest timeslip... tends to shut them right up... LOL!
