My wife has a 2000 camry, it is one of the most boring and uninspired cars that i have ever driven. I hope to god that a foriegn car company would not ever take over ford. I would rather like to see a merger with gm than see our AMERICAN ICON go japanese!!

ehh the reliability they talk about is rattles and stuff that most mustang owners dont give a damn about and it should be about the same as a gt. have any of us really had any engine problems that weren't our fault? i know like 2 people have had tranny problems, but out of like 100 members that own s197 v6's (at LEAST 100) that is not bad at all, so the gt should have the same reliability. hey, at least we can always say it is more reliable than an audi or volkswagon, all audi and vw vehicles in consumer report got black in reliability (lowest rating). pretty sad to spend 50k+ on an audi and have it in the shop monthly.

My dad had a 99 camry and the engine broke down beyond repair this year....we always had goog experiences with fords from 89 Tempo, to the 92 Escort that still runs . the mustang is our 3rd one and no proplems with 21,000 miles on it......

I remember reading this last year and I think they based their prediction on the reliability of the 4.0 engine (which has been around a while, and thus has a history, which our cars don't as yet).

you know it is a ford.... but i'm sure none of you bought your car so you could put 277,000,000 miles on it
