Don't worry, if you marry your girlfriend, she'll have no problem keeping the airbag light from coming on.

Yup it's a weight thing. I deactivate my Fiance's passanger air bag when riding in his 05 Saleen - they have very uncomforable firm seats.

so the passenger air bag light keeps coming on when my girlfriends seats in the passenger seat? why does this happen??? should i bring the car in to get it checked out?

Get rid of the girlfriend LOL ..........

That's hilarious! Those of you with the light girlrfriends just throw them in the back seats, for safety purposes. You might also try investing in silicon weights for your girlfriends.
