If you want a low entry price on an LSD, check out www.speedconcepts.net They offer the 7.5" Ford T-Lok for $169.00 new. That's the cheapest I could find, before deciding to splurge and spend the $430.00 for Detroit's Truetrac. The T-Lok is an excellent unit, I just wanted Detroit's unit which is over-kill.

haha a actually checked wikipedia too, but I wasn't sure. I mean for 160 bucks, it's a great deal. I just don't want it to be unsafe. What's your take on it?
+1 used gears i would, an LSD, especially a tlok i would not buy used, there might have been some idiot like me beating the snot out of it in the previous car

Personally... I would avoid buy this stuff "used".. I was save my money and buy new...

On kind of the same subject, how much would an install on an 8.8 rear be? I mean I'm looking at 400 for t-lok and gears and only 575 or so for an 8.8. (I plan on supercharging eventually)

only reason i could think of for upgrading to an 8.8 is 31 spline axles, a 7.5 with a true trac and TA girdle will handel decent power very well

Turns out MRT is having a "Moving" sale right now... I have no idea how many they have as quanties are limited... but they have both the 7.5 and 8.8 TruTrac listed for $399... might save some one $30! LOL!
