I have this same problem with my 06. I noticed the water coming in around the same wires you are talking about. Did they by any chance say how they resealed the opening?

The new V6 (3.5L) is also supposidly front wheel drive... Is it a DOHC? because that might be another reason.

Front Wheel Drive Mustang? They Wouldn't They Couldn't! I mean really! Who cares how much HP they put under the hood if it's all going to the front wheels! Yuk! I hope you guys are talking about the Escapes still.
