Default Cover and Winter storage Questions

Since winter is getting near I will be storing the Stang till April or so and breaking out the 4x4. From reading a butch of other post I will be getting either the Covercraft Noah car cover or the one that CDC makes. Still thinking about it.

But the question I have is about the battery. If I disconnect the battery, will I still be able to open the door, or does the window work off something else. And I read that a BattaryMinder is what should be used to protect the battery. What do you guys think or know about this. Please let me know.

Thanks

You can use the key in the key hole to always open the door. The battery minder is good or simply remove the battery and set it on a wood slab and put any battery charger on it and about once a week run a low amp charge.

So then if the battary is not in the car what controls the window to go up and down when you open the door?
