yea that happens to meusually when im cruising on hills or i was parked on one. i have also noticed if i was to do donuts in the stang, which i dont do anymore, the tank would go empty even though its not and slowly creep back up to where it was.

NOPE! It happens to both our S-197s (one is Yellow, but the other is Black)

Both of ours do this when ever I drive corners hard. My wife has never noticed this 'problem', go figure! lol

Up the hill it goes one direction, down the hill another. And what's better, is that every once in a while, after I fill up the tank, it will say that it's only half full (or half empty ), and over the course of the day will eventually make itself back up to full. And, to add to that, occasionally when that happens, my trip will reset itself back to zero!!!!

Nope, not at all. I bought her back in April of this year, and the odometer has reset itself 3 or 4 times. It resets itself when the gauge that is moving too slowly finally makes it to full.

It happens on Legend Limers also, but so far only three times. The first time was on a long road trip and it coresponded with the fuel pump issue they have the TSB out for so I thought they were related, once I stopped again it came back to normal. The second time was when I took it in to the dealer to replace the pump. After they installed the new pump the fuel guage stayed on empty, they thought they had gotten a bad pump but when I went and started it up, back to normal. The third time was two days ago when I filled up and switched to the 93 tune, but again the next morning I started her up and back to full. I thought maybe I just had a strange effect on fuel sending units becuase I replaced the one in my last car twice and finally just drove it for a year with a bad unit until I switched it out before trading it in on Margarita.
