That's quite a cannon. Unless your an experienced pistolero, It'll make a flincher out of ya. If you don't believe me, shoot it for a while, then load 3 shells in a random fashion, turn the cylinder so that you don't know when a live one is in the chamber. When you pull the trigger and find yourself driving the muzzle into the ground. You will see that you are anticipating the recoil. Ruger makes a nice handgun. Very durable and reliable. Have fun!

This gun has actually been in my family for about 25 years and was just given to me for an upcoming birthday, so I've shot it many times. It does kick like a mule but I'm used to it and shoot it pretty well.

i shot my uncles 44 magnum when i went to peru, it was serious campared to his 9 and .22

From another american gun owner congrats on the pistol and the pony er both of em? I thought all you guys with real horses drove Ford trucks. Here's my contribution to the american .50 AE compensation piece er.... conversation piece.
