How much did it cost you to get it installed?

I'm also thinking of getting one, also, where would I take it to get it installed?

thanks
One hour of labor at a local auto shop. Many folks on the board have installed it themselves, but I didn't have a lift or ramps so I decided to take the easy way out.

A couple of jack stands is all you reall need unless your a bigger guy, then you may have trouble sliding underneath the car.

I haven't had any noise problems, although I'm not sure I know what you mean. I can hear the shifter when I shift as I would expect. It's a lot more precise and has much shorter throws than stock. I've had it on my car for a week and it keeps feeling better each time I drive it. I paid approximately $225 installed.

Shiftstops are essentially set screws near the bottom of the shifter that reduce over travel of the shifter. The idea is adjust them so that the shifter engages the trans completely into gear without traveling further than it needs to shortening the throw while eliminating the "spongy" feeling you sometimes feel when the linkage is flexing under excess pressure.
