Default Block Heater

I Live in canada and my Mustang is Equipped with a Engine Block Heater...anyways its supposed to be -35C tonight and I want to plug my car in but I cant find the Block heater cord to plug in to...

Can someone PLEASE give me an idea Where in the engine to look for the plug? Thankyou so much

Look under the radiator thrue the hole under the bumper the cord is there. I searched for it last winter....

-31F WOW. We got to 73F today
When using these block heaters is your heat instantly hot. I might want one of these.

No, My instruction book says plug it in 3 hours before you drive.

You should hear my poor mustang start in -40C Weather when I dont plug it in...It sounds like its dying lol...

No, all it does is heat your engine block so the Oil and stuff flows easier when you start it....it just makes your engine last longer

If you want instant heat you can buy 900 watt interal heaters for about $100.00 You run the cord through your firewall and tie it up with your block heater cord. So you plug both in the night before and the next morning everything is toasty warm

the internal heater has a thermometer so it doesnt get to hot and melt anything

Any Auto store has them. I live in Canada and here we have this chain of stores called Canadian Tire.

I am guessing you live in the states? if so I think there is a chain called Autozone...check them out.
