What do you guys think I should do?
I have ben trying to look for a CAI for a while.
I have a 2 people that will sell me theirs.
One of the is offering his AFE in perfect condition for 75 bucks shipped
and another person is going to sell me their C & L for 155 shipped.
The C & L has to be tuned I know. I can get an unlocked Xcal 2 for about 200.........
How much would a tune fron doug or any other sct tuner cost me?
Which way would you guys go?

Im definetly gonna get an xcal II ..........how much more hp will the C & L make over the AFE?

probably like 2-4, you wont find much w/o getting on a dyno with a custom tune.

you might find an xcal2 for $200 if you are lucky, and the tune from b*ma is $75, and i think that brenspeed is like 100



personally, I would get the C&L and the tune, but I dunno, I did sell my AFE to get a steeda [:-]

I have no regrets in buying my C&L CAI. Looks mean when the hood is up. Once you find a SCT xcal2, call around to the big shops and ask about prices on their tunes. Another choice would be to buy one from them direct. I bought mine new as a combo from Evolution.

If you can't get the tuner for a while go for the AFE. I've got the AFE and ran it without a tune for a couple months and it made a noticable difference. Once I got the tune it really came to life. The C&L may give you 2 more RWHP but you won't know the difference.
