Those aren't "cracks" at all but rather just creases and this is totally normal. Trust me they will get much worse than than and then they will eventually split it not treated often.

RE: Leather seats cracking?
I have leather seats in my convertible and compared to the crappy leather seats in my ESCAPE, these are pretty nice. I have the gray colored. Those are NOT cracks, I think the term creases is more appropriate.
As for treatments, LEXOL is good. I have a tin of KIWI SADDLE SOAP and a tin of KIWI MINK OIL. Clean with the saddle soap and then treat with the mink oil. I have a new STAR STRATOLINER motorcycle with leather covered hard saddlebags. The above procedure has yielded the best results. I like the ARMOR ALL LEATHER spray as a touch up, not as a primary treatment. ARMOR ALL also makes a gel treatment for leather, comes in a brown bottle like the new styled ketchup bottles. Good stuff, but only after you do the Saddle soap and mink oil.

I agree, they are not actually "cracks" just a crease in the leather...but it still looks like crap.

RE: Leather seats cracking?
the reason thats happening is because its not really leather at all... the only leather part of our "leather seats" is the middle perforated insert. The rest of the seat is vynil. Cheap crap >_<

I was just at the dealership looking at new GT.....I work in the automotive covering business, car covers, seat covers, dash covers that sort of thing....................the vinyl portion of the seats are textured...............this is the way the material is made, if they were not textured, the would look very dull and plain..............when textured vinyl section of seats feel rough and scratchy, you will have a problem..........otherwise just don't sit in them[sm=itsok.gif]
