So guys let me ask you a ? I have just put on a gt kit on my car and my boss pulls out today and hits me. The bumper got messed up so here is my question he has insurance with nationwide even though the gt bumper didn't come on the car factory will the insurance still fix it or will they put the original back on thanks guys

The way my insurance works, is they replace the parts the way they were, not how I bought it. If you want brand new parts, you have to specify otherwise they try to find used parts to save them money. But since it's a new car, I would want new parts. Hope this helps.

cut a deal with him...in the long run, he will probably pay more than it costs to get a gt bumper just because of the accident. find a real good deal on a gt bumper and say, "hey if you wanna deal with this without insurance, we can just do this for $___" its worth a shot.

I'd say this is probably the quickest and best idea to go with. I'm sure that you and your boss don't want to deal with the whole insurance process. Also, you don't want to create any hard feelings between you 2 especially if he is your boss, could cost you your job! [sm=joke.gif] But in all seriousness, I would think that this is the best way to get what you want and avoid anything that could prevent you from getting your GT bumper.
