Not really, you make it sound rare. Most autos are right around 200 w/ i/tune/e.
As for the crank hp to whoever asked, from the average rwd powertrain loss #'s <roughly 20% on a manual and 25% on an auto> you can extrapelate the numbers and say the v6 is probably a bit underrated and is somewhere around 225. But of course some cars are going to dyno lower, some higher, and the 15hp it may be underrated just keeps Ford out of trouble with those owners whose cars do dyno lower then normal. Same thing with the crank tq.

yeh from what i remember it was pushing it to get to 200 rwhp.

Other thing is to make sure the numbers are SAE corrected!

I think your percentages are a bit high... manuals are 12% to 15% and autos in the 18% to 20%...

Your numbers are pretty much the standerd for what FWD loses through the powertrain, RWD loses a bit more, and AWD even more, upwards of 30%!

On the SCT website it says you could expect 11hp and 22tq with a tune...it didn't say if this was with an intake or not, but I would assume that if it didn't mention this included an intake, then this is what you COULD get with a tune alone.

182rwhp is not 235, even at a generous 20% loss its 227, which yes, its still underrated, but they are gettin crazy with these numbers
287rwhp on a gt, is NOT 340hp.
smokin somin good shiz thats for sure.
fyi, its bout 18% loss for the autos, which means its about about 224hp on that one, which is still a factory freak at 182rwhp stock, sincce most are in the 170s
