Default Tuner without CAI

Does anyone have a tuner without a CAI? IF so, how are the performance gains with just the tuner?

Has anyone purchased a CAI after already having a tuner? IF so, did you notice any performce gains in the lower rpms with the additon of the CAI.

It seems that the CAI provides the best gains above 4000 rpm. If this is true, then what is the benefit of having a CAI if I normally keep my revs below 4000?

why are you looking for performance gains if you are gonna keep it under 4k? You will see gains from the tune especially if you are auto. I guess it would make sense to skip the cai if you plan on going forced induction...

Based on the dyno sheets I've seen, it seems as if the majority of the gains in HP and torque comes in at over 4000 rpm with a CAI. I won't be racing my car, I just want to have a little extra power on take off. By the way, I have a manual and have no problem spinning the tire in first gear, but I would like a little more power down low.

Fazm, did you feel a noticeable improvement in performance after you added the CAI?

Hi
I have a 06 v6 auto and decided to get the cai and tuner.
My question is to the members from az, I saw a post about
arizona dyno chip and does any one know if I would get the
tuner from them and they then program it or do I order it online.
The post had good things to say about them and also is the cai
install done with basic tools.
thanks

az dynochip has done all my tuning.

you can buy it from them, or buy it online, and take it to them and get a custom tune. probably cheaper/quicker to just buy it from them and get a tune
