Are you kidding me? A nissan Maxima beating a Mustang GT? You're out of your mind. If a GT can blow the doors off of a 350Z, it can surely take a Maxima.

my stock v6 will take a 94-98 mustang GT with either the NPI 4.6 or the 5.0, its not far fetched

a maxima would be a drivers race with a new edge stang, an s197 has a edge on them, and a 350Z and S197 GT are drivers race

my experience is that the 350 and edge race is between the drivers. 350s have plenty of hp, but are difficult to race, and dont do very well at the track. low 14s right with the edge. the maxima is a little slower yet, less hp, much less torque, and heavier than an edge... it makes sense. andU got lucky if u took out either theNPI or 5.0 in ur 6, cuz those cars are a good .5-.7 faster if properly driven.... not that its impossible to fugger up half a second in a race....
