I finaly received my Tunable Induction CAI and SCT Xcal2 this morning. I instaled the CAI an tuned the car and went for a ride. My first impressions are that the car pulls a little better and has a little less throttle lag (not all gone). I find that the motor run smoother than stock. Not as WOW as I tough but still more fun to drive. By the way I use the 87 tune because no other grade of gas is available in my vicinity for now (new year shortage). Next week I am going to try the 91 tune.

Get on that higher octane and youll feel more power...I plan on going to 93 soon.

My impression was about the same as yours. Not as much WOW as I thought either. The 91 tune is a little better.

I'm getting my tuner as soon as I get $400 to spend on it. Where's a good place to get it from? I heard B amaChips was good... any other recomendations?

You're still getting lag when you punch it? This is disheartening; I thought that was one of the BIG deals about getting a tuner... getting rid of the throttle lag.

I would try Dougs tune for the TI. I was able to spin my tires with that tune, and chirp 1st and 2nd my auto.

I was talking to someone who got there tune from B amaChips and he was able to chirp 1st to 2nd and 2nd to 3rd in an auto which is pretty sweet. I'm open for any suggestions though

Don't guet me wrong about the throttle lag it is much better than it was. Today I went for a longuer ride. Definitely the car pulls better and the acceleration is far better (butt dyno). I am just waiting for the gas tank to be empty and willl try the 93 tune (I can have 94 octane gas). Hope it does not snow until then (I live in the big white north). By the way, no CEL until know for around 50 miles driven.

I got the same thing and love it!!!! The TI really looks nice too. Congrats and if you get bored play witht he shift points....WOW weeeeeee.

@sniper yes the throttle lag is almost gone but there is still some which I think is needed cause of the lead foot that devolops in the tuned V6
@ American made, try and get a combo less in shipping and less in cost overall too. Besides the tuner is probably set up for the CAI....JMO
