Don't bother, its a waste of time. Not that i've done it, but you can get a pair of GT Take-off mufflers for dirt cheap.

Why? With GT Takeoff's being so cheap, why would you bother?

dude go GT take off!! Free if not cheap and you be done in about 20 minutes besides if you start cutting the gutts out of your 6 muffler the exhaust won't work well...

Why would you bother trying to look like you have a muffler when you don't. The ticket is going to be the same price. Guess I don't get it.

I would say take them off completely but I don't know if it's legal where you are... I live in Orlando, FL and we don't have to have mufflers, just Cats...

To answer you question, I'm sure its possible, but I don't think it will be worth the cash and time.
