Default Stupid tuner questions

I just instaled the TI CAI and SCT Xcal2 Tune (87). When I want to install another tune do I have to return the car to stock or go directly to the other tune?

If I want to modify the tire size do I have to use the PC program or just answer yes to the question before installing the tune?

as far as the tune goes I would imagine not but if you are worried about it it won't cause problems as long as you make sure to reset everything to the custom tune you need for whatever mods you have. as far as the tires go I don't know yet I'm still on the factory tires

Ok...

When switching tunes, you can just load the tune you want, no problems as my experience goes. However, I try to make it a habit of reloading the tune everytime I fill up. I have no reason for doing this other than it's one of my many compulsions.

When changing the tire size, I'm fairly certain you can do it when loading the tune by choosing yes when asked if you want to change the optional parameters. You can also take off the limiters or set them where you want, you can change the axle ratio (gears), and a few other fun things.

Thanks in advance

For the tunes: Impressed? No. Satisfied? Yes. Let me explain. The 87 and 91 tune are ok but not Wow. But the 93 is much better (WOW). But for every tune the car is more responsive and seems to pull far better. With the 91 and 93 tune I can easily spin the tires (burn the tires) in first. The thing is that my car was already quite responsive before the tune except for the infamous throttle lag (almost gone noe).

As for the CAI. I like it a lot (beautiful and well built). I only had a little trouble inserting the filter over the intake tube (quite a tight fit), had to use vaseline.

well i think im gonna just get the same thing you did, as i won't be keeping a tune just for the intake/exhaust for very long and it is so much cheaper. thanks for being honest and not being low "wow it is the bestest!" just because it is the one you own lol.

I have to say that I cannot say it is the best in the world because I cannot compare it with others and I never Dynoed the car. But don't get me wrong, even if I can't describe exactly what I feel, the car is better with the tune then stock, it is an overall feeling very hard to describe, I am having a lot of fun with the car.I am 51 going toward 16 this is what my wife tell me. It is the first car I really like (had 78 mustang, my first car, new but with the 4 cylinder, was poor at the time). I do not intend to go FI.

Next modification gonna be the driveshaft or headers (almost the same price if I go JBA on the headers) I I am not sure which will be the best.
