Default TPMS/PSI Question?

I bought my 07 V6 last week from a dealer in Greeley CO. All of the tires had 26 psi in them.
The tires are the Perelli 235/55/ZR17's. These tires should have 32 psi cold in them.
Would a dealer take 6 psi out to make the car ride smoother? All 4 were 26 on the nose. Tested with 2 gauges. Does anyone know when the TPMS light comes on? Wouldn't it be interesting if the tpms light comes on at say 24psi. I love her with 26psi or 32psi, but I'll go with the 32. Thanks.

Default RE: TPMS/PSI Question?

I honestly don't think they would do that, its not going to make a noticeable difference....
whats the max psi for the tire...why do you say 32?
either way thats plenty of air to drive on you should see no problem, your handling will get slightly better if you up the pressure to say 35-37 (if the max is 44 like i assume) as well as your gas mileage, launches will improve if you let some out of the rear like 25-26....

but you will be fine how it is
I don't know anything about the light sorry thats a new fangled option i suppose lol (im running an oldcskool05 lol))
